We're adding several new features, including this newsletter option. Periodically, we'll send out e-mails to everyone who's registered at the site, so we can keep you informed of updates or important news.

If you've visited, you've seen our new layout. What did you think? We'd love to have your feedback. There's a "Contact Us" button on the Web site. Just fill in the contact form to let the Webmistress know what you like (or don't) about the site.
Have you got information to share? The Acuff.org site is all about you and your kinfolks, so we want to display photos (old and new ones), announce events, and keep adding your twigs to the family tree.
Did you check the "Parentless People" section? Although we have nearly 11,000 people in the family tree, many of them are not properly connected to a branch. Or, they may be duplicated. We need your help to correctly identify everyone.
While our on-line family tree is mostly people with the surname Acuff/Ecoff (or variants), we want to know about everyone who shares our ancestry.
Thousands of cousins are identified on our off-line family tree. We had to establish some kind of cut-off for the Web site; otherwise, the on-line tree would be unmanageable.
Remember -- we do NOT knowingly post personal information about living people.
What about reunions or other events? We're adding a calendar to the Web site, and we'd love to post your gatherings there. Please send us write-ups and photos afterward, so we can add them to the site.
Do you have a personal or family Web page, blog, or photo album on-line you'd like us to publicize? When you login at Acuff.org, you'll find an option in the Menu to "Submit a Link."
Finally, please tell your family members about the Acuff.org Web site and invite them to stop by. We're also on Facebook now, so you can become a Fan there and help spread the word among your kinfolks.
